The historic Pfafisch Pastry Shop was inaugurated in 1915 by the famous master pastry chef of Bavarian origin, Gustavo Pfafisch, born in 1887 in Fossano and soon arriving in Turin. In 1921, the business was moved to its current location at 42 via Sacchi, in the splendid Liberty building designed by the famous architect Pietro Fenoglio, in full Art Deco style. A leap forward until April 2020, when Francesco Ciocatto and his team took over the helm, bringing lights back over a brand that has marked the history of chocolate and artisan confectionery in Turin, rediscovering the tradition of ancient recipes. The Pfafisch philosophy not only looks to the past but also to innovation. "Behind the historic brand there are people, workers who every day, with passion and commitment, collaborate together to achieve the common goal of rediscovering the flavors of the yesteryear."
