A piece of history and an icon of wellness. A magical and evocative place, founded almost a century ago, which preserves its antique furniture and the elegance of yesteryear intact.
Located inside the famous Terme Tettuccio spa, in the heart of the most authentic Tuscany, this café is a true historical monument, a symbol of the Belle Époque. Inaugurated in June 1928 in the presence of the Minister of Finance of the Kingdom of Italy, Giuseppe Volpi di Misurata, it was beautifully frescoed by master decorators Giulio Bargellini and Maria Biseo. The wood paneling and the mirrors complete this jewel of architecture and art, whose unique atmosphere has enchanted illustrious personalities and great artists over the years, from Pirandello to Mascagni, from De Chirico to Mastroianni. Even today, from the tables of the café, you can admire the garden of the thermal baths, an oasis of peace in the heart of Montecatini.
