The Malinverno family has held the keys to this historical place since 1969, when Elda and Giuseppe took charge. Over time, their children Franco and Fausto have led, developed, and refined the family business, which is now overseen by Federico Malinverno: here, you can still breathe the vital spirit of the historic "Palazzo della Guardia," where the Gonzaga garrisons were stationed in the 15th century. The furnishings are original, expertly recovered with a skillful restoration work. Also noteworthy is the restaurant's menu, where delicacies such as "luccio in salsa Isolana" (pike in Isolana sauce) or "storione del Po cotto al vapore" (Po sturgeon cooked steamed) can be found.
